About Me

Caleb Thompson is a lifelong learner, dedicated educator, and an emerging scholar completing a Ph.D. in Workforce Development. Grounded in practice, his research explores the intersection of policy, practices, and workforce preparedness-specifically as it relates to secondary and postsecondary education. Before entering academia, he worked as a public school principal, a teacher, and independent researcher focused on bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world application. These professional experiences provided firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities within the education-to-workforce pipeline, and they continue to shape his work at the intersection of education, community development, and labor market alignment.

My goal is to contribute to research and practice to promote inclusive, adaptive, and future-ready students who are prepared for a postsecondary environment.
